Jan.  10/24   Growing Your Garden Gracefully-  The Evolution (Creation) of a Garden from Young to Mature-: (ZOOM PRESENTATION)  Like a Garden Plan, a garden doesn’t last  past the first shovel in the ground.  Gardens evolve, year after year. Plants over-thrive while others die.  Shade pushes out sun-loving plants as trees mature.  Join us on  zoom with Sean James of Sean James Consulting and Design to look at how this progression happens and how to embrace it.

Feb.  14/24   The  World of Perennials- New and Old Favorites – (ZOOM PRESENTATION) Perennials are a backbone to the garden adding color, texture and form. Join us on Zoom with Cindy Cluett of Beyond the House who will introduce us to these new cultivars and talk about some old favourites.

Mar. 13/24   In Search of the Holy Grail of Landscape and Design-  If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, then what makes for a beautiful garden? As an avid and curious gardener, Julianne has visited public and private gardens in many parts of the world, including tours of local gardens around Ottawa. In this talk, Julianne Labreche will share some ideas on how to create a simple garden design that is both visually pleasing and welcoming for all kinds of visitors, including the creeping, crawling, flying and four-legged creatures that enrich and enliven the biodiversity of our gardens.
